We use Australia Post standard 500g, 3kg & 5kg post satchels, with tracking numbers for the majority of our mail outs.
As Australia Post no longer provides any compensation for lost or damaged parcels that are sent via “ordinary post” we recommend that you request us to add the following insurance options when we process your order:
- “Extra Cover” (insurance)
- “Signature on Delivery for goods over the value of $300 (mandatory for more than $300 extra cover)
As you check out of the online store you can use the “Message / Comment” box to request insurance be added to your invoice.
Requesting these additional services will provide you with insurance cover for your purchases should they be lost, or damaged in transit, by Australia Post.
If you do NOT request insurance cover:
- You are agreeing to accept full responsibility if the parcel is lost or damaged in transit.
- Australia Post will not refund the cost of the goods and
- We will be unable to replace the goods.one of
Occasionally, for large or awkwardly shaped objects, the postage may be greater than the amount calculated by the shopping cart. In this event we will advise you of the change before processing your payment.
If you wish to use an Express Post service please request this by writing in the comment box.
This postal service will be a little more expensive than the standard postal service options shown at checkout so the amount charged when we raise the invoice, and process payments, will be different to that shown in your shopping cart.
Express Post is only available for addresses within Australia.
Parcels to New Zealand:
Parcels to New Zealand are automatically sent using one of the following options:
Registered Mail for parcels up to 500g
A Tracking Satchel for parcels up to 1Kg
Tracking label for parcels over 1kg
Parcels to elsewhere in the world:
Postage & packaging is charged at Australia Post rates and we will send your parcel with the most cost effective method possible.
Your credit card is NOT automatically debited when you send an order and will not be processed until you have agreed to the postage rate that we will advise you by email.
Therefore, please ensure that your internet security allows email messages from Always Quilting and if you have not received an email from us within a couple of days check your spam filter / junk mail file to see if our message has been re-directed.
International orders will NOT be processed if the email address is invalid.
Conditions of sale:
You will receive an automatically generated email, sent via the shopping cart program, for your records.
This does not mean that we have accepted the order, or that payment has been deducted from your credit card.
We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a sales contract between us, when we have confirmed that the item is in stock, we have generated an invoice and in the case of credit card payments, authorised the processing of payment.
We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.
In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the new price is acceptable.
Please ensure that you check your email in the days after placing an order, and that your internet security allows email messages from Always Quilting, as we may need to contact you about your order.

If we are unable to contact you when we need to do so, your order will NOT be processed.

International clients are advised that GST does not apply to goods being exported. To calculate the price free of GST it is necessary to divide the cost by 11 and subtract that 11th from the total.

Credit Card Payments:
Always Quilting utilises a secure server for purchases made via this website.
The security will only come into effect on the pages where you are asked to submit your credit card details and will be indicated by a locked padlock symbol appearing on the top or bottom of the page.
Be sure to look for this symbol before entering any credit card details.
Note that you can cancel out of the transaction at any point up until the final confirmation that sends the order.
Your credit card is not automatically debited when you send an order and we guarantee that your payment will only be processed when the goods are ready for shipping.
The shopping system collects, encrypts & sends your credit card details securely over the internet and we process them manually through our banking system in the same way as we process a telephone or mail order payment.
For Australian Customers Only:
Payment will be accepted by credit card, or direct deposit to bank account.
If you wish to make your payment by a direct deposit you will need to select the “Please Invoice Me” payment option.
When we receive your order we will email an invoice to you, which will show our banking details, and your order will be held aside for posting once you payment has been received and cleared.
Information For International Customers:
All transactions are calculated in Australian currency and will be converted into your local currency by your credit card provider.

Payment will only be accepted by Visa, Or Mastercard.
A 2.76% Service Fee may be applied to International transactions to cover the International Banking Interchange Fee.
We do not offer a PayPal payment option as the secure card service, that is part of the online shopping cart used on the website, is safe & very efficient.
